On Tuesday, September 13, Superintendent Dr. Romain Dallemand will hold his weekly Cabinet Meeting at Barden Elementary as part of his Community Conversation Plan. The media is invited to view District administrators touring the building and visiting classrooms from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Barden Elementary is located at 2521 Anderson Drive.

As part of the Community Conversation Plan, Dr. Dallemand is holding a day-long Cabinet meeting in a school every Tuesday as a way to strengthen the lines of communication and create a direct connection between the schools, Central Office, and the District’s Leadership Team. District administrators will also tour the school, visit classrooms, and meet students.

“This [Plan] allows the District and me to continue receiving feedback directly from all stakeholders and allow us the opportunity to update them on how we are improving achievement for all students,” Dr. Dallemand wrote on his blog when he first announced the Plan. “I want us to have a direct connection with all stakeholders in Bibb County because the work that work that needs to be done will take each of us being committed to students and willing to change.

Beginning Monday, September 12, Dr. Dallemand will begin his “Sitting with the Superintendent” sessions, which allows employees and community members to meet with him individually. To schedule a meeting with the Superintendent, contact his office at 765-8502.
