Dates Announced for Kindergarten Registration
The Bibb County School District will begin registering kindergarten students for the 2012-2013 school year on Monday, April 16, 2012.
Contrary to previous years, parents will not visit their child's school to register. This year, registration will take place only at the District's new Welcome Center. Parents may visit the Welcome Center to register their children during the hours of 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. Appointments are available upon request.
Children must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2012, to be eligible for kindergarten for the 2012-2013 school year. Parents will need to bring the following items at the time of registration: proof of residence (current telephone, gas, water, electric or cable bill); child's certified birth certificate; child's social security card; immunization record; and ear, eye and dental form.
